Kathleen Granahan Kane born on June 14, 1966, is an American politician and lawyer who served as Pennsylvania’s 48th Attorney General from 2013 until her retirement in 2016, following her conviction for perjury, obstruction of justice, and other counts connected to illegal acts while in office.
She was the first woman and the first Democrat to hold the role.
Kane said in October 2014 that she was suffering from a concussion she had incurred in a car accident. After a two-car incident in Scranton in 2022, she was jailed for DUI.

Kane and her husband Chris Kane, an executive and co-owner of his family’s transportation and warehouse company, lived in Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania.
The couple has two boys together. Zack Kane and Christopher Kane
On December 26, 2014, she filed for divorce in Lackawant to County, Pennsylvania’s Family Court.
