Yoshiko Smith Died Along With Child In Tuesday Keithville Tornado

The victims of the tornado that hit Caddo Parish on Tuesday have been identified as Yoshiko Smith and Nikolus Little, both of Keithville, Louisiana.

Nikolus, 8, and Smith, 30, also known on Facebook as Hadassah Davan Israel, died in a tornado that hit the Keithville region on Tuesday.

Following severe storms that hit Keithville at 4:49 p.m. on Tuesday, the mother and son were found.

Smith was discovered Wednesday morning under storm debris, while Nikolus was discovered Tuesday night at 10:55 p.m. in a wooded area.

Mother and child autopsies have been requested.

More than 25 people were harmed in Farmerville, Union Parish, when an apartment complex was damaged by the tornado, and one more injury was reported in Keithville.
