After a few guest appearances in Van Halen's 2004 tour, he became an official member of the band in 2006 when he replaced Michael Anthony as the bassist. It also managed to reach the #19 spot on the Oricon chart in Japan.Also in 2015, Wolfgang Van Halen contributed to Tremonti’s second studio album 'Cauterize'. A year later, he featured in its follow-up ‘Dust’.
