Willard West Wood Jr. is an American professional golfer who has played on the PGA Tour, Nationwide Tour, and PGA Tour Champions.

Willie Wood was born on October 1, 1960 (age 61 years ), in Kingsville, Texas, United States. He currently lives in Edmond, Oklahoma. Willie turned professional in 1983 and has had seven professional wins in the last couple of years. He had his college education at Oklahoma State University.

Willie Wood and his wife Holly Wood had two children. In October 1988 Holly Wood was diagnosed with  Ewing’s Sarcoma, a type of cancer that arises in the bone and can extend into soft tissue.

cancer most frequently occurs in teenagers and is said to be highly treatable. Recovery often depends on the location of the primary tumor. After battling cancer, she died ten months later after being diagnosed.
