Dana Terrace, the creator of The Owl House, reveals that Disney canceled the show after deciding the series didn’t fit with the studio’s brand. The creator of The Owl House, Dana Terrace, has revealed that the show was cancelled because it didn’t fit with the Disney brand.
The Owl House ‘s creator may have announced the show is ending, but that’s not going to stop fans from campaigning for more episodes. In a recent Twitch stream, Dana Terrace said that “it is too late for an extended Season 3” of the series. Still, she added that there may be more content coming in the universe of Luz and Eda.
The Owl House originally debuted in January 2020, and was renewed for a second season prior to the premiere date. In May 2021, the series was renewed for a third season consisting of just three specials, and later on, Disney announced that this would be the final season of the show. New episodes of The Owl House will hit Disney+ on August 18.
