In north Houston, a man was discovered shot to death on Friday, and his family is trying to find out who shot him.
Luis Casillas was discovered wounded by a gunshot in a business parking lot off the North Freeway close to West Little York Road, according to Houston police.
The family of Casillas is distraught. They claimed that he was killed because of a $500 fix. He intended to use it to buy his two children Christmas presents.
He was a father, a son, a brother, and an uncle; he didn’t deserve this, according to Sandy Casillas, Luis’ sister.”
The event is being looked investigated, and investigators hope to uncover security footage of the gunshot.
Witnesses claimed to have seen Casillas argue and make an attempt to flee before being executed while pleading for his life.
He pleaded with them, saying, “I have a family, just take everything you want,” but they refused.” said Sandy Casillas.
On Christmas, his children opened presents but were still too little to completely comprehend what had happened to their father.
Outside of the store where he worked, the 29-year-old was shot in the head. One of up to six suspects, according to witnesses, was required to pay for a $500 repair but balked at doing so. During that time, Casillas was shot.
Two witnesses claimed that after hearing a disturbance and a single gunshot, they attended to the mortally injured Casillas.
Sandy Casillas has faith that the suspects will be apprehended soon.
“I’ll be damned if I allow this case to remain unsolved. Justice will be served for my brother, Sandy Casillas promised.
Jose Casillas, the brother of Luis Casillas, is still processing the new reality.
Jose Casillas observed, “It’s been three of the longest days.”
Family members claimed to have some knowledge of the shooter. They stated.
