Paul Flores, a man sentenced for killing California understudy Kristin Brilliant in 1996, was condemned to 25 years to life in jail without any chance to appeal Friday in a California court.
The 45-year-old was seen as at real fault for first-degree murder last October. His condemning came after an adjudicator denied a movement from Flores’ lawyer looking for a subsequent preliminary.
The 19-year-old understudy of California Polytechnic State College disappeared in 1996 and her body has not been found till date. In 2002, specialists proclaimed her lawfully dead. Savvy and Flores were both going to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in focal California at the hour of her vanishing.

Following Flores’ conviction, Brilliant’s family said: “Without Kristin, there is no euphoria or triumph with this decision, we as a whole realize it didn’t need to be like this. Following 26 years, with the present split decisions, we discovered that our journey for equity for Kristin will proceed.”
