Earnie Dee Shaver, better known as Earnie Shavers, is a former professional boxer from the United States who competed from 1969 to 1995.
He won nine straight knockouts before being knocked out by West German Horst Koschemann, who weighed 230 pounds (104 kg).
At the age of 22, Shaver began boxing. He had a brief but notable amateur career before turning pro, winning the 1969 National AAU heavyweight title.
