Who Is Dean Spanos’s Wife Susie Spanos?

Dean Alexander Spanos was born on May 26, 1950, in Stockon, California. He owns Los Angeles Chargers franchise which competes in the National Football League. His father, Alex Spanos bought a majority interest in the Chargers team in 1984.

Dean Spanos gained full ownership of the team after his father’s death in 2018. However, before gaining full ownership of the team, he served as team president and Chief Executive Officer in 1994.  Dean is married to Susie Spanos, with whom they have two children.

Susan Lucas Spanos is a Californian and a philanthropist. She used to work as a flight attendant for Western Airlines and the Del Webb Corporation. It was during this time that she met her husband Dean.

Susan immensely contributed to the San Diego Blood Bank and continues to involve herself in the San Diego Chargers Annual Blood Drive and Fashion Show to show her support for the Blood Bank.

Susan has also served in leadership positions on several charitable organizations. Some of these organizations include the Campanile Foundation at San Diego State University, the University of San Diego, and the St. Germain Child Abuse Prevention Foundation.
