Juan Carlos Ferrero Donat is a former Spanish world No. 1 tennis player. He is also known by his nickname “Mosquito” for his speed and slender physical build.

He was runner-up at the 2002 French Open and 2003 US Open and won 16 ATP titles, including 4 Masters 1000 events.

He retired from professional tennis following the 2012 Valencia Open.
