King Charles III is the King of the United Kingdom and 14 other Commonwealth realms.

He ascended to the throne on September 8, 2022, upon the death of his mother,  Queen Elizabeth II.

Charles Philip Arthur George was born in Buckingham Palace on November 14, 1948 as the first child of Princess Elizabeth, Duchess of Edinburgh, and Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.

He is the eldest of the former Queen’s four children. His younger siblings are Anne, Andrew, and Edward.

Anne, Princess Royal, is the only daughter of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. She is 16th in the line of succession to the British throne and has held the title of Princess Royal since 1987.

Prince Andrew, Duke of York, eighth in the line of succession to the British throne, served in the Royal Navy as a helicopter pilot and instructor and as the captain of a warship.

Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex, is the youngest child of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. He worked as a theatre production assistant at the Really Useful Theatre Company and later formed his own company named Ardent Productions.
