Jabrill Ahmad Peppers, a strong safety with the National Football League’s New England Patriots, was born on October 4, 1995. (NFL). Peppers accepted an invitation to the NFL Combine and showed up as both a safety and a linebacker. With the exception of the short shuttle and three-cone drill, he completed all combine and positional drills. Of all the linebackers, he ran the 40-yard sprint the fastest. One of Sports Illustrated’s “Future Game Changers,” a group of 14 young players who are regarded as the best in their respective sports, is Peppers. In 2015, Peppers was recognized as a Second-team All-American, a Freshman All-American, and the Thompson-Randle El Freshman of the Year. In 2016, Peppers won awards for being an All-American, the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year, Linebacker of the Year, and Return Specialist of the Year.
