Travis Michael Kelce is an American football tight end for the National Football League’s Kansas City Chiefs (NFL). Kelce was born on October 5, 1989, in Westlake, Ohio, the son of Ed and Donna Kelce and the younger brother of fellow NFL player and Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce. Kelce attended Cleveland Heights High School in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, where he participated in football, basketball, and baseball.

Kelce returned to the team to begin the 2011 season after serving a one-year suspension. Throughout the season, he played tight end and had 13 catches for 150 yards and two touchdowns.

Kelce set personal career highs in receptions (45), receiving yards (722), yards per reception (16.0), and receiving touchdowns (8) in his final collegiate season, earning first-team all-conference honors. Kelce was named the College Football Performance Awards Tight End of the Year in March 2013.
