Miya Ponsetto, 23, avoided jail time under the conditions of her plea agreement, and she can enter a new plea to a reduced, misdemeanor charge if she completes her probation in a case of driving while drunk in California.

Officials also stated that she must undergo counseling and have no contact with the criminal court system for the next two years.

If she does not comply, she faces a four-year sentence in state jail.
