Spoiler: What Happened to Saul Goodman in Breaking Bad

This article contains spoilers from the finale episode of season 6. Hence, read the paper after you have watched the final episode.

The final episode begins in the desert. Jimmy is stumbling through it, thirsty. He finds some water and urgently dips his head in it. Jimmy suggests creating a time machine so they can vanish and dividing the cartel money with Mike.

Mike claims that if he could go back in time to the year 1984 when he first accepted a bribe, Mike would take the money, go on, and then check in with a handful of the individuals.

After that, viewers return to the final scene left off in episode 12. Jimmy (as Gene) is running away from Marion’s home in Gene’s timeline when Marion learns who he is.

Saul is sentenced to seven and a half years in jail, but he also wants to select the facility and the Wing where he will be housed.

The Breaking Bad timeline is revisited in the series’ final episode. Walter is seen with Saul. What would you do if you had a time machine? It is the same question he asked Mike, which he also asks Walter.

Viewers then get back to the present, where Jimmy is being bused to a federal jail. He observes the sweat of the prisoner in front of him. He turns around and is recognized as “Better Call Saul” by the man.

Saul Goodman’s Death Plot and Ending

Viewers are sad after watching the ending of their six-season-long series “Better Call Saul.”

In the ending moments of the last episode, Jimmy is back to baking in prison, doing the same job as Gene at the mall’s Cinnabon.

He receives notice that a lawyer is waiting for him. It was Kim, to his amazement. Knowing that the guy she loves is back to who he gave her shivers.

He accepts Kim’s offer of a cigarette, and they both light it before sharing a drag against the wall, just as before.

Kim mentions how Jimmy’s sentence has been reduced to seven years, now eighty-sixed years. He exits the facility and spots Saul in the basketball courtyard. Once more, they exchange intense glances.

Kim turns around and leaves. Jimmy finally decided to pursue love since he had already harmed enough people.

Is Saul Goodman Leaving the Show?

Better Call Saul is finally coming to an end after six seasons. According to AMC, they have no plans for more forays into the world of Breaking Bad.

However, viewers will be able to see Bob Odenkirk in another series as he has agreed to star in the upcoming AMC dramedy Straight Man, which is based on a Richard Russo novel.

Long after the events of Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul keeps messing with the timeline while hinting at the definitive conclusion of Saul Goodman’s (Bob Odenkirk) saga.

While the program has so far served as a prequel, the most recent episode transported viewers to the future and revealed how Saul, now going by the name Gene Takavic, returned to a life of crime after hiding out for years as the manager of an Omaha, Nebraska, Cinnabon shop.

Critics have praised Better Call Saul for its performance, characters, writing, directing, and cinematography and many have considered it a worthy sequel to Breaking Bad.

The series is considered one of the best television series of all time. Some viewers are going so far as to say it is better than its forerunner.

A Peabody Award, 46 Primetime Emmy Awards, 15 Writers Guild of America Awards, 14 Critics’ Choice Television Awards, six Screen Actors Guild Awards, and four Golden Globe Awards are a few nominations the series has received.

When it aired, the series premiere was the highest-rated scripted series debut in basic cable history.
