In a nutshell, the stories published in January that detailed Crowley’s plagiarism in parts of her 2012 book, “What The..(Beep)..Just Happened,” and her 2000 doctoral dissertation at Columbia University were not debunked.

CNN discovered more than 50 such examples in her book, which HarperCollins, the book’s publisher, discontinued selling following the report. According to the news outlet, the book lacked a bibliography.
