Sean O’Malley is a professional MMA fighter from the United States. Sean was born in Helena, Montana, in the United States. His grandmother, on the other hand, is Irish.
Sean currently competes in the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s Bantamweight division (UFC). He is currently ranked 13th in the UFC bantamweight rankings as of March 21, 2022.
O’Malley trains at The MMA Lab in Glendale, Arizona, under the direction of head trainer John Crouch,[6] and is coached by a long-time friend, Tim Welch.
O’Malley fought his first five fights in Montana before moving on to North Dakota and eventually Legacy Fighting Alliance, where he got a highlight-reel knockout over David Nuzzo.
O’Malley was set to face Louis Smolka at UFC 264 on July 10, 2021. Smolka, however, withdrew from the fight in late June due to injury, and was replaced by promotional newcomer Kris Moutinho.
He won the fight by TKO in round three after outstriking Moutinho with hard shots throughout. This fight earned him the title of Fight of the Night.
