Why did Todd torture Jesse?
Todd volunteered to torture Jesse to get the information from him, and Walt let Todd take Jesse away. While Jack and his gang also decided to take Walt’s money for themselves, Jack spared Walt and allowed him to keep a single barrel of the buried money.
Before Walt and Jesse’s first cook, Todd informed the duo of a nanny-cam in the living room of the house (“Hazard Pay”) . He later assisted Jesse and Walt during a train heist for methylamine to produce Blue Sky. Todd showed great interest in the plan, trying to make Walt see the potential in him.
After Walt returns from hiding in New Hampshire, he attempts to propose a new deal with Lydia and Todd to produce meth with a new formula to which Lydia feigns agreement and instead orders for Walt to be murdered.
Walt taught him how to cook meth in the mobile lab, telling him to try his hardest and pay attention, instructions which Todd seemed to take to heart. He took notes and studied them on his break. After the cook, Todd turned down Walt’s offer of money until he improved (“Say My Name”) .
Todd drives a 1978 Chevrolet El Camino. Before working at Vamonos Pest, Todd was an employee at the Albuquerque Gazette. Due to Jesse Plemons’s putting on weight, Todd looks noticeably more overweight in El Camino than he appeared in Breaking Bad.
He at one point was an employee of the Albuquerque Gazette and later began working for Ira at Vamonos Pest; working as a fumigator and also secretly as a burglar.
Afterwards, Todd and the crew drove the methylamine back from Arizona into New Mexico (“Confessions”) . After Todd performed his first solo cook, he was unable to keep the blue color even though the purity was greater than Declan’s crew could manage.
Who did Walt and Jesse allow Todd to help with?
After proving himself to be a hard worker and determined, Walt and Jesse allow Todd to help them with their ambitious train heist. Todd proves to be an essential part of the team and the heist is pulled off flawlessly. But then they notice a young boy named Drew who saw what they did.

Lydia is not the only person that Todd is trying to impress. He also sets his obsessive mind on Walter White and seems to look up to the man greatly. Todd frequently does everything he can to get Walt’s attention and is very excited to become his cook partner when Jesse quits.
Jesse Pinkman went through a lot of pain in the series and much of it was at the hands of Todd. Though the worst thing Todd did to Jesse wasn’t even the torture but rather the murder of Jesse’s former girlfriend Andrea. While captive in Uncle Jack’s compound, Jesse attempts to make an escape.
Todd calmly tells Skyler that he understands she has to talk to the police but that she cannot tell them about Lydia. It is another instance of Todd’s calm and gentle demeanor making everything much creepier.
When Uncle Jack and the others are gone, Todd decides to bring Jesse along while he runs some errands in town. It says a lot about Todd’s sociopathic mind as he seems to see nothing strange about taking the guy he’s torturing to help him pick up car parts.
Here’s a look at 10 times that Todd was unsettling and unforgiving in his crimes. There have been a number of memorable villains in the Breaking Bad universe, but perhaps none are as unsettling as Todd. After Uncle Jack and his gang kill Hank Shrader, Walt reminds them that they still owe him for the hit he put out on Jesse for talking to the police. However, Todd reminds Uncle Jack that Jesse may have told the police about them so they should find out.
What happens after Walt calls Todd?
It happens just after a meeting between Todd and Lydia when Walt calls Todd to officially request that his family take out Jesse. Todd is holding Lydia’s cup of tea from their meeting during the phone call, and after getting off the call with Walt, he takes a drink out of the cup.
On its own, Todd’s relationship with Lydia is already very odd and awkward, and this detail is just one of many that make it even stranger (Todd also uses the Groucho Marx song “ Lydia the Tattooed Lady ” as his personal ringtone for her).
Over the course of its fifth season, Breaking Bad makes it almost explicitly clear that Todd is attracted to — and possibly obsessed with — Lydia. One Reddit user recently noticed an odd moment in Breaking Bad that only makes Todd’s attraction to Lydia that much more uncomfortable as well.
Nearly eight years after Breaking Bad aired its series finale, fans are still finding reasons to be weirded out by Todd, too. One recently discovered detail, in particular, just adds yet another shade of creepiness to one of Todd’s biggest relationships in the series.
