Video: Jessica Redfern is the Walmart Worker Taken Hostage By Armed Woman Wednesday Night In Richland MS

Unknown female suspect who held hostage a Walmart employee in Richland, Washington and was eventually shot dead by police has been identified as Jessica ‘Bubbles’ Redfern, a resident of Pelahatchie, Mississippi.

On Wednesday night, Redfern, 32, was held at gunpoint in the Richland Walmart on Marketplace Drive. The suspect insisted on having an interview with the media.


On Wednesday night, a lady barricaded herself inside a Richland store and held Redfern hostage, demanding an interview with a local TV station.

The female suspect is seen on surveillance footage from inside the business, clutching Redfern while brandishing a gun.

After receiving a report of a possible hostage scenario, police arrived and ultimately ended up murdering the guy with gunfire.

The incident had no other casualties.

The guy allegedly entered into the business armed and asked that media outlets be present, according to the police.
