Tragically, Ty Journell lost his life on June 14, 2023. According to reports, Ty Journell passed away on Wednesday as a result of a snowboarding accident, shocking many of those who had grown to adore him.

Ty Journell lived in the Virginia town of Pearisburg. In Giles County, Virginia, as well as the Eastern Sierra, California, he was well-known as a legendary skiller. Ty Journell was a devoted member of the Giles Lifesaving and Rescue Squad, Inc., according to sources.
Since its establishment in September 1945, Giles Lifesaving and Rescue Squad, Inc. has provided emergency medical assistance and rescue services to the residents of Giles County. Giles Lifesaving and Rescue Squad, established by 12 notable residents of the community, has grown to include more than 50 members, five ambulances, a light-duty crash truck, and three water rescue vessels. Celanese Corp. provided the squad with its first ambulance and crash truck.

Ty Journell was a Junior Member who worked and was a long-time participant. He was a rescue squad member who was well-liked and respected by the other squad members. They became really close to him, and they will miss him a lot. His close friends, family, and coworkers will also be missed.
