Syabda Perkasa Belawa Died in Car Accident,

Men’s singles badminton athlete from the Indonesian Badminton Association (PBSI) Syabda Perkasa Belawa died in an accident on the Pemalang toll road, Central Java, Monday, March 20, 2023.
Head of Public Relations of the Central Java Regional Police Police Commissioner Iqbal Alqudusy said the accident occurred at around 03.40 WIB on the KM 315 Toll Road, Petanjungan Village, Petarukan District, Pemalang Regency.
“Two people died and three were injured in this incident,” said Iqbal in his written statement, Monday, March 20, 2023.
The chronology of the accident began when the Camry car in which Syabda and four other people were traveling was driving from west to east in the left lane. The car driven by a man with the initials M was traveling at an above average speed.
“It is suspected that the driver was sleepy so he collided with the truck Nopol AG 8711 V driven by SA driving in the same direction in front of him,” said Iqbal.
Two people died on behalf of Anik Sulistyowati, 42 years, and Syabda Perkasa Belawa, 22 years. The victim Anik died with a fracture to his right leg and torn right eye. He died at the scene of the accident. Meanwhile, Syabda died with a torn left head wound, severe head injury. He died after undergoing treatment. The Camry driver and two passengers suffered minor injuries.
All victims were treated and evacuated to RSI Al Ikhlas Pemalang,” said Iqbal.
The material loss in this accident was Rp. 15 million. The Pemalang Resort Police have secured evidence, examined witnesses, examined the victims, and made a police report regarding this accident.
