Biography:

Stephen Amell was born on May 8, 1981 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He made his television debut in the series Queer as Folk. He has since appeared in such shows as Degrassi: The Next Generation, Missing, Tilt, and Beautiful People, among others.

In 2006, he was cast as Buddy Harrelson in the television movie The House Next Door, marking his film debut. This was followed with further appearances in the films The Tracey Fragments and Closing the Ring.

He then went on to become known for some notable roles on television including the part of Billy in Rent-a-Goalie and Jason in HBO’s Hung. He now plays the titular role in The CW series Arrow.
