Career

Na-Eun initially dreamed of becoming a painter, but she coincidentally stumbled upon auditions for the South Korean record label JYP Entertainment. She unexpectedly attended the auditions and performed “It’s Not Love” by Wonder Girls. Later, she was informed of passing their audition and henceforth became an amateur under JYP Entertainment. After a while, she moved to Cube Entertainment and continued as an amateur.

At 16 years old, Na-Eun appeared in the music videos “Beautiful” and “Breath” by Beast as its female lead. She joined the South Korean girl group, Apink which was formed by IST Entertainment. The group debuted on April 19, 2011, with the extended play (EP) Seven Springs of Apink and on the same day they released its debut EP Seven Springs of Apink on April 19 alongside a music video for its lead single “I Don’t Know”.

In 2012, She made her acting debut portraying the teenage Hae-in in the historical drama titled The Great Seer. She then made her film debut in the fifth episode of the comedy series Marrying the Mafia, “Return of the Noble Family”. She then continues to play other supporting roles like the romantic comedy Second 20s and the family drama titled Childless Comfort.

For a whole year, that s from 2013 to 2014, Na-Eun starred in the fourth episode of the MBC reality television series titled We Got Married with Shinee’s Taemin portraying a virtual married couple, In 2016, she co-starred in TVN’s romantic comedy titled Cinderella with Four Knights.
