I assume you’re talking about the books. Chronologically, Angels and Demons came first but since the books could be read stand alone, you can buy either of them. Or just buy them all. That way you could finish one then move on with the other immediately.

Hi there! Yes the novels are much better, but I happen to enjoy the films. They are filmed on location (some sets were re-creations e.g. the Louvre, St. Peter’s Basilica/Square, The Sistine Chapel, etc.), so getting to see Paris, Rome, Florence, Venice, etc. with Robert Langdon running around searching adds a bit more to the story for me! I think Ron Howard did a great job bringing Robert Langdon to the screen!

But that’s pretty much the amount of connection there is between the films. And Inferno doesn’t even have that (since contrary to the first two films, it doesn’t really feature the Catholic church much at all).
