American professional golfer Scott Michael Dunlap was a member of the PGA Tour before joining the PGA Tour Champions.

Dunlap, a Pennsylvania native, spent his formative years in Sarasota, Florida.

He graduated as Sarasota High School’s valedictorian in 1981 and earned a golf scholarship to attend the University of Florida in Gainesville.

From 1982 through 1985, he competed for the Florida Gators men’s golf team in NCAA competition.

When the Gators won the SEC team title in their senior year of 1985, Dunlap was named to the first team, was named an All-American, and was named Golf Week’s Male Amateur of the Year.

He is currently not married even though he is touted as one of the richest in the sport of golf.
