Sarina Petronella Wiegman RON, also known as Sarina Wiegman-Glotzbach, is a Dutch football manager and former player who is the current head coach of the England women’s national team.

Wiegman began her playing career as a central midfielder before transitioning to a defender.

She enrolled at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1989, where she played for the Tar Heels women’s soccer team. When she returned to the Netherlands, she joined the Ter Leede women’s team in addition to her job as a physical education teacher. She won the Dutch championship and the KNVB Cup once with Ter Leede.

From 1987 to 2001, Wiegman represented the Netherlands. Although she played 104 times for her country (which was initially recognized by the KNVB), caps won against non-FIFA affiliated opponents brought her official cap total to 99.
