Langello joined the 12 Sports team as a reporter in August 2020. Prior to WPRI, Rosie was a sports reporter/anchor at WTAJ in Altoona, PA, where she earned a Pennsylvania Association of Broadcasters Award for her reporting in WTAJ’s high school football show, Sportsbeat.
She covered Penn State athletics, the Pittsburgh Steelers, Saint Francis University, and high school sports during her time at WTAJ. Rosie frequently filled in as a news anchor and producer in Altoona. She also spent her first year out of graduate school as a news producer/digital media manager at WBRE/WYOU in Wilkes-Barre, PA.
Rosie received her Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications in 2016 from Bloomsburg University. During her time there, she was the president of her sorority Chi Theta Pi, contributed to BUnow.com, and hosted her own show on Bloomsburg’s student-run radio station.
