Rayne Elaine Rice Died in Vehicle Involved in I-10 Shooting

The public’s help is needed to find the individual responsible for the murder of a 27-year-old woman back in December, according to the San Antonio Police Department and Crime Stoppers.
Rayne Elaine Rice was shot and killed on December 17, 2022, at approximately 5:40 p.m. while a passenger in a car heading west on Interstate 10.
According to police, someone took out a gun and fired while Rice’s car was at the Colorado Street offramp, just before the upper and lower level split near downtown.
The suspect car is reportedly an SUV in a dark color, according to SAPD. Moments before the incident, it was spotted driving westbound on Cesar E. Chavez Boulevard at South Flores Street, trailing a white Hummer vehicle.
