Raymond Rocha Found Dead after crashing into Saginaw Township Church,

A Saginaw Township man who was discovered dead after colliding with a church has been identified by police.

The driver of the 2018 GMC Sierra truck that struck Grace Baptist Church and School, 4619 Mackinaw Road, was Raymond C. Rocha, 69, and it happened sometime between May 17’s evening and the following morning.

On May 18, shortly after 5 a.m., a church/school staffer realized the truck had collided with a brick wall at the back of the facility and called the police. The truck’s bed hit the building’s wall, with the side it hit facing the parking lot as opposed to Mackinaw Road.

During the impact, Rocha’s was thrown from the truck. When the cops arrived, he had already passed away.

It wasn’t known that Rocha was connected to the church or the school. To ascertain Rocha’s cause and manner of death, police are awaiting the findings of an autopsy.

Rocha’s body showed no evident symptoms of wrongdoing, according to Saginaw Police Chief Scott A. Malace, and it’s conceivable he experienced a medical emergency before the collision.
