Sergio Michel Pérez Mendoza is a Mexican race car driver who goes by the nickname Checo.
He races for Red Bull Racing in Formula One. He has previously raced for Sauber, McLaren, Force India, and Racing Point.
He scored his maiden Formula One pole position at the 2022 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.

Antonio Perez Mendoza, born March 20, 1986, is a retired Mexican stock car racing driver. He is the 2008 NASCAR Corona Series champion. His last competition was in the NASCAR Mexico Series, driving the No. 1 Toyota for Jimmy Morales.
He began racing full-time in the 2006 Corona Series and won the Rookie of the Year. He made his Busch Series debut in 2007 in the Telcel-Motorola Mexico 200 at Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez.
At his Busch series debut, he drove the No. 68 Telmex Dodge.
Both Perez brothers are friends with Mexican professional footballer, Javier Hernandez.
