Olivia Eskens Obituary & Funeral – How Did Olivia Eskens Die?

On Sunday, February 12, 25-year-old Olivia Noelle Eskens passed away peacefully in her sleep in her apartment in New York City.

Olivia Eskens, formerly of Lincoln, Nebraska, is the daughter of Mike and Kari (Jakub) Eskens.

Olivia was a young woman with lots of vigor, compassion, and drive. She graduated from Lincoln Pius X High School in 2015, and it was in high school that she first realized her dream of being a cosmetics designer. She earned a chemical engineering degree from the

University of Nebraska at Lincoln in 2019. Later that year, she relocated to New York City to attend Manhattan College for her Master’s degree. As a Technical Product Design Lead – Make-Up at Avon Global, she started living her goal in 2021.

Olivia’s parents, brother, and sister are still alive.

Adelyn Eskens of Lincoln and her brother, Andrew Eskens. Numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, as well as grandparents Albin “Jake” Jakub and Jeanne (Jambor) Jakub of Schuyler and Marlene (Schmidt) Eskens of Coleridge.

Olivia, a die-hard astronomy and space enthusiast, gave her pet kitties the names Mr. Hubble and Spitzer in honor of two space telescopes.

Along with her devoted family, Olivia’s smile and generosity touched the lives of hundreds of people, including her sorority sisters, friends in Lincoln, and members of her gymnastics family.

The family has established a memorial fund or requests donations be made to your neighborhood animal shelter in place of flowers.
