Obituary | Samuel Richmond Cause of Death

Samuel Richmond was on board the Farr-designed 31 – metre (102 – foot) Farfalla, built by Southern Wind and launched in 2014 when her running system rigging failed.

Sam incurred a head injury which needed hospital treatment and medical evacuation to Florida. Due to this unfortunate sailing accident, he kicked the bucket on the 8th of March 2022.

As information has it, the yachting community in Antigua sounded their horns as an act of remembrance to one of the loveliest guys in sailing. This was at sunset on Friday 11th March 2022.
