Acron claims that on the first day of high school on August 24 in Agoura, California, Stone injured his shoulder.

The next day, on August 25, he went to Specialty Surgical Center of Westlake Village for what AHS Football coach Dustin Croick described “regular surgery” on his shoulder through an arthroscopy procedure.

Something terrible happened during the operation. His condition necessitated prompt transport from the Specialty Surgical Center of Westlake Village to the Los Angeles Regional Medical Center in Thousand Oaks. At Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, Stone was stabilized before being pronounced dead.

“When arrival, he was already in cardiac arrest,” the hospital reported. Nonetheless, the teen’s death has not been officially attributed to any one reason.

Agoura’s third-year head coach Dustin Croick, however, claimed that Carter was diagnosed with a heart tumor. He said that the family was probably unaware that the tumor was caused by T-cell leukemia.

He was “looking forward to getting to the field,” according to a report by NBC station WRC-TV. A freshman’s unexpected and terrible death at age 15 has left the whole school in disbelief.
