Murali Mohan Maganti (Telugu: ) (born June 24, 1940) is an Indian film actor, producer, politician, and business entrepreneur who is best known for his work in Telugu cinema. He was born in Hyderabad, Telangana. Murali Mohan made his film debut in 1973 with Jagame Maya (1973), which was directed by Poornachandra Rao Atluri. Tirupati, a 1974 film directed by Dasari Narayana Rao, was the film that first brought him to public attention. He has appeared in over 350 feature films during his career.

He has worked in a variety of capacities for the National Film Development Corporation (NFDC) and the Andhra Pradesh Film Development Corporation, among others. In addition, he serves as the Honorary President of the Telugu Film Artists Association (TMAA). In 1980, he and his brother Kishore founded their own film production business, Jayabheri arts. His debut film as a producer was Varala Abbay, directed by Raja Chandra, which was released in 1981. In addition, it turned out to be Murali Mohan’s 100th feature film. The business has produced 25 films, including the current hit feature Athadu, which was produced by the corporation. He serves as the Chairman of the Jayabheri Group, a construction business. He has also been involved in politics, serving as a member of the Telugu Desam Party. Regarding politics, he ran in the 15th Lok Sabha elections in 2009 as the TDP Candidate from the Rajahmundry parliamentary seat in Andhra Pradesh, where he was defeated by the Indian National Congress Candidate Vundavalli Aruna Kumar by a slim margin of 2147 votes. In 2014, he was elected to the 16th Loksabha as a Member of Parliament for Rajahmundry, where he now resides. He made headlines during his first term as a member of the Indian Parliament for making sexist comments, which attracted criticism from a variety of places.
