Motorist Anibal Rangel Dies in a Multi-Vehicle Crash on the San Diego

Authorities identified the 28-year-old driver who perished in a multi-vehicle collision on Sherman Oaks’ San Diego (405) Freeway on Sunday.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened on the southbound freeway at Valley Vista Boulevard at 11:30 p.m. on Saturday.
The website of the County Medical Examiner states that Anibal Rangel was the driver. Rangel’s residence in the city was not immediately known.
A car overturned, flipped across all lanes, and eventually landed in the No. 6 lane, adding two SUVs and a sedan to the collision, according to witnesses who spoke with the CHP.

At around 11:47 p.m., a medical examiner from the County of Los Angeles was sent to the scene.
It was cleared from the road around 2:35 a.m. on Sunday.
