Oppenheimer Carlos Javier Correa, was a free agent Puerto Rican professional baseball shortstop.

He made the headlines when The Twins agreed to terms with him on a three-year, $105.3 million contract with opt-outs after the first two seasons.

He who formerly played for the Houston Astros in Major League Baseball debuted in Major League Baseball (MLB) back in 2015.

The Astros however selected Correa first overall in the 2012 MLB draft.

In 2017, he won the World Series and appeared at the World Baseball Class.

He won the AL Player of the Month Award and was named an MLB All-Star.

He was selected to his second All-Star Game in 2021 and received Gold and Platinum Glove Awards.
