According to Alex’s dad, it was very hard for him and his family that their mother and his wife suddenly died in the middle of the night. They could not believe that she was no more with them. After a long time, Max met a woman named Caryn and fell in love with her.
Caryn is Alex’s stepmother. She was a widow as her husband demised just one month after Debbie. So, Max and Caryn could connect a lot. Caryn had two daughters from her first husband, Morgan, and Avery.
Moreover, the couple and their children decided to move to Parkland to start their new beginning. It was tough for all the kids in the front, but they got along after some time and started to love each other.

Alex Schachter was a fifteen-year-old boy killed on February 14, 2018, in the mayhem in Parkland. There were fourteen more students killed that day ruthlessly by Nikolas Cruz.
One of the friends of Alex Schachter witnessed all the things that happened in the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. According to him, he saw all his classmates injured and taking their last breaths.
He further stated that he first heard a loud boom outside his classroom, felt a burning feeling on the back of his head, and came to know that he had been surrounded by gunfire. Dworet stated, “I remember the feeling dripping down the back of my head and chest; it was blood everywhere.”
Shooter Nikolas Cruz Prison Sentence And Charges
According to the Jury, the Parkland School shooter Nikolas Cruz gets a life sentence in prison or will be put to death. He has already pleaded guilty to all the charges upon him.
The prosecutors are demanding a death sentence, whereas Nikolas’s team is trying another option: a whole life in prison with no probability of release. The jury, seven men and five women, heard the witness’s testimony and all the evidence.
Furthermore, the jury must decide whether to impose the death penalty or only for life in prison. It is all upon the jury. The murderer of 17 people is 23 years old. He has been charged with first-degree murder and an additional 17 charges of attempt to murder.
Cruz apologized for his actions to the victim’s family members, saying, “I am very sorry for what I did, and I have to live with it every day and that if I got another chance, I would do everything in my power to help others.”
