The 24 year old Dutch racer is currently in a relationship with Brazilian model and columnist Kelly Piquet. The two started dating in 2020 almost a year after her breakup with Daniil Kyvat.
Kelly Piquet is the daughter of three-time Brazilian Formula One champion Nelson Piquet.

Max does not have any children of his own, however, his girlfriend Kelly has a daughter named Penelope from her previous relationship.
