On December 7, 2018, Matthew Dellavedova was returned to the Cleveland Cavaliers as part of a three-team deal that also included the Bucks and the Wizards. On December 10 against the Bucks, he had a strong return game for the Cavaliers, scoring 11 points in 16 minutes.
