In his lifetime, Brando was married three times. In 1957, he married actress Anna Kashfi for the first time. Christian Brando was born to the couple in 1958, but they divorced in 1959. After that, Marlon married Movita Castaneda in 1960, but according to a 1968 Philadelphia Daily News clipping, she was “the wife he never claimed he had” until he was compelled to testify in a 1961 court case with Anna Kashfi. Because Movita’s first marriage was still going strong, Brando was successful in getting an annulment that year. Miko Brando, who was born in 1961, and Rebecca Brando were Marlon and Movita’s joint offspring (born 1966).
