Born in 1982 or 1983 in the United States, Margaret Grace Denig is an actress and model. Throughout her career, she has played a number of memorable roles.
She is most recognized for her performances as Shannon Rutherford in the ABC television series Lost and Althea Szewczyk-Przygocki in Fear the Walking Dead. In addition, she performed the roles of Irina in the Twilight Saga, Kim Mills in the Taken trilogy, and Shannon Rutherford in the ABC drama Lost.
Grace’s talent was recognized early in her career with a nomination for a Young Artist Award in 2002 for her role as Martha Moxley in the television movie Murder in Greenwich.
Later, in 2004, she joined the cast of Lost, where she played Shannon Rutherford for the show’s first two seasons and earned a Screen Actors Guild Award with the rest of the cast.
Grace focused on acting in movies after leaving the program, making cameos as Kim Mills in The Jane Austen Book Club and Taken alongside Liam Neeson. She portrayed Kim once more in Taken 2 and Taken 3.
Grace has also played Alice in Malice in Wonderland, a modern-day adaptation of Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, in addition to her performances in films and television programs.
She also returned to Lost and appeared as Shannon in two further episodes, including the season finale. In 2013, Grace was added to the cast of Californication.

Parents Valinn and Fred Denig, who ran a family jewelry business, welcomed Grace into the world in Worthington, Ohio. From kindergarten through the ninth grade, she attended Worthington Christian Schools.
After a brief stint at Thomas Worthington High School, she started performing in school plays and local theater productions, including The Crucible at a Jewish Community Center in the area in 2000.
