Kristie Sita Hand Story: What Happened To Kristie Sita’s Arm?

Kristie Sita was out on Ruby Lake on the Sunshine Coast in British Columbia at age 16 when her left hand was severed off by a rope but while she thought it was a nightmare at the time, she has since come to terms with the loss.

Kristie has previously explained the horror of losing her hand in an instant when she was out on a lake with friends. The group had an inflatable tube that fell off the back of the boat to retrieve it.

Though the experience was terrifying she said and required immediate emergency surgery, Kristie rebounded quickly with a positive attitude. Just two and a half months after her four-hour operation, she was back training in the gym.

Kristie now has stories of her life as an amputee on social media, showing how she performs everyday tasks.
