Knox Mcewen was a 14-year-old boy who died suddenly and tragically on November 4th, 2023, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
He was a revered member of his local community, a JROTC student, a volunteer with the kids ministry at his home church, and a beloved brother, son, grandson, nephew and friend.
His death has shocked and saddened many people who knew him and loved him.
Knox Mcewen Death: Cause and Circumstances
The exact cause and circumstances of Knox Mcewen’s death are still unclear and under investigation. According to some sources, he was found unresponsive in his bedroom by his mother, Julie Mcewen, who called 911 and performed CPR until the paramedics arrived. However, despite their efforts, Knox Mcewen was pronounced dead at the scene.
Some reports suggest that Knox Mcewen may have suffered from a cardiac arrest, a sudden and unexpected loss of heart function that stops the blood flow to the brain and other vital organs.
Cardiac arrest can be caused by various factors, such as heart defects, heart disease, drug overdose, electric shock, or trauma. However, these are only speculations and have not been confirmed by the authorities or the family.
The Broward County Medical Examiner’s Office is conducting an autopsy to determine the exact cause and manner of Knox Mcewen’s death.
