Actor Julian Sands is still missing six months after going missing while hiking on Mount Baldy in California.
In their first statement following the start of the search, Julian’s family expressed their gratitude to the teams and coordinators who had worked nonstop to find Julian.
We will always remember Julian as a beautiful husband, parent, explorer, lover of the outdoors and the arts, as well as a unique performer who enjoyed working with others.
Sands, who is well-known for his parts in Room with a View, The Killing Fields, Warlock, and Arachnophobia, was reported missing on January 13 in a formal manner. Since then, according to San Bernardino sheriffs, they have carried out eight searches and eight further operations to locate 65-year-old actor.

The search last Saturday reportedly featured aircraft, drone operators, and more than 80 volunteers, deputies, and employees after efforts had been put on hold for several months due to weather. Sands was not located, but the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Office stated that the investigation into his disappearance “remains active.”
