Jo Mersa Marley died at the age of 31 on December, 27 2022, according to multiple reports. As the cause of death has yet to be officially confirmed or made public, unconfirmed reports suggest that he died of an asthma attack.

Jo Mersa Marley made his official musical debut in 2010 with “My Girl,” a collaboration with his older cousin Daniel Bambaata Marley, released on Ghetto Youths International, the Marley family’s imprint record label, and produced by his father.

This was followed by the breakout single “Bad So” in 2012, and his debut EP, Comfortable, was released in 2014.
