He shot into the limelight for his portrayal of Jian-Yang in the HBO comedy series Silicon Valley.

As far as we know, the comedian does not have any children of his own currently. Yang’s acting career began when he was 21.

He started with stand-up comedy at various clubs in Los Angeles, California. Yang joined Central Casting after graduating from the University of California, San Diego. When a buddy informed him that there was money to be made in residual checks from advertisements, he was inspired to pursue acting.

While waiting, he performed stand-up routines throughout Southern California and enrolled in acting school.

He portrayed Nathan Chow on Criminal Minds and Tang-See in season 9 of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Yang voiced characters in the video game Infamous Second Son and served as a writer and consultant for the Harlem Globetrotters.
