In one such video, Maria is seen checking out the personal items left behind by the members of the Hype House. The clips were posted on TikTok and soon got viral. Jenny Popach and her group received flak for their actions from the TikTok community. Chase Hudson, a member of the Hype House, lambasted the group on Twitter. Soon after, other members of the house came forward and condemned Jenny and her mother for their apparent break-in.

Maria Ulacia later came out with an explanation stating that she did not break into the Hype Housemansion. According to her, she and the group were allowed to visit the house by the caretaker. Maria Ulacia’s claims have been quashed by the members and the management of Hype House.
