In an interview published on Thursday(September 15), Jeff Bridges claimed that his struggle with cancer made him susceptible to COVID-19 before individuals could be immunized against the virus, which almost claimed the (Big Lebowski) actor’s life.

The 72-year-old Oscar winner, who spent more than four months in the hospital, told the media that chemotherapy wipes away your immune system, so when Covid hit him, he had no immune system left to fight it.

I was just so close to passing out a few times there, Bridges admitted to the media that he was in surrender mode and concerned that he wouldn’t be able to accompany his daughter down the aisle, but the doctors advised him to keep fighting.

Jeff Bridges happen to be the biological son of the late actor Lloyd Bridges and the late actress and writer Dorothy Bridges. Through this couple, he had his own blood siblings Beau Bridges, Garrett Myles Bridges, and Cindy Bridges.

It is not surprising all his siblings are in the movie industry as well. Sadly among his siblings, Garrett is the departed one who died a couple of years three months after he was born.
