Jarran Reed, an American football defensive end with the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League, was born in Goldsboro, North Carolina on December 16, 1992.

He attended Alabama during his collegiate football career, and the Seattle Seahawks selected him in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft.

The Green Bay Packers defensive end does not have a wife at the moment. In 2012 and 2013, Reed played as a defensive back for the East Mississippi Community College.

In 2014, he transferred to the University of Alabama. His team won the 2013 NJCAA national championship under his leadership, and he is credited with 100 career stops overall, including 10.5 tackles for loss.

Reed currently has one daughter. During his final season at Alabama, Reed participated in all 15 games and made 57 tackles in addition to one sack.

He assisted in guiding his team to a triumph as CFP national champions. Reed debated going undrafted in the 2015 NFL Draft, but ultimately decided against it and went back to Alabama. He participated in every game and made 13 starts in his freshman season at Alabama.

His mother, Anjanette Reed raised the football superstar as a single mother. It appears Reed’s father bailed on them when he was a baby so not much is known about him currently.
