Jane Fonda has been married three times.

Her first marriage was to French film director Roger Vadim, on August 14, 1965, at the Dunes Hotel in Las Vegas. However, after less than a decade of marriage, they divorced on January 16, 1973.

Merely three days after her divorce, she married activist Tom Hayden in a free-form ceremony at her home in Laurel Canyon. The marriage also ended in divorce on June 10, 1990, in Santa Monica.

A year later, she married her third husband, cable-television tycoon and CNN founder Ted Turner, on December 21, 1991, at a ranch near Capps, Florida. This would prove to be her shortest marriage as they got divorced on May 22, 2001, in Atlanta.

She is currently not married. She was previously in a relationship with record producer Richard Perry. Their relationship began in mid-2009, however, it fizzled out and ended in January 2017.
